Freedom, I build my own arrows for my longbow, but nothing that fancy. I will tackle the splicing one day, but not yet.

those are very nice bucktales. I like them alot. what is the cut called on the feathers, any ideas . looks like a shield . is the gold ring near the nock reflective? i've found a small ring of reflective tape sure makes finding those "last light shot "arrows easy to find. i've been looking for some reflective paint to use instead of the tape. did you do the painting by hand or use wraps ? they dont look like wraps if they are. if they arent your very talented. very nice. Freedom, those are 5 1/2" shield cuts. The gold is not reflective, just an accent stripe. Everything on the arrow is painted, no wraps. Its easy to do, if you make up a pattern ahead of time, and tape it to your cresting machine. Everything will come out the same, arrow after arrow. The finish on the arrows is Epoxy. Easy to do, and tough as nails. I have a recipe, if you want to try it. Takes more time than gasket lacquer, but well worth the time.
