to tell you the truth, with the heat were having im just not that excited about going yet. Although todays temps were nice. Its suppose to get down in the high 30s wed. night so I may give it a shot Thursday, we'll see

Oct 1st
I probably wont hunt much until the following weekend, then it'll be 4 days of pure hell for the deer.

Opening day was today (10-01) and I saw nothing. Only got a morning hunt in. Going again on monday. Hopefully I will have better news after that.

No good news. I saw 5 deer........... as I was driveing out this morning after the hunt. They were all over the path. We have NO acorn crop this year, third year in a row, can't wait for the rut. Maybe then, I will have more action. Going again on Sat. morning.
