It was a little warm this morning(70 degrees) but we had some rain last night and it was a pretty good first hunt of bow season. I decided to hunt one of my stands that is full of oaks and had two pretty good trails within bow range. I saw two deer, one was a doe for sure and the other was going into a thicket when I saw it and never got a look at it's head so I'll say it was a doe too. We've still got alot of leaves on right now and it's pretty easy to miss one coming across the ridge from the stand I was hunting. No meat today, but it was a pretty decent start to bow season.
