In less than two months I'll be sweating it out in the woods. I'm ready, even though it's usually too hot and the skeeters will eat a person alive in early September.
DS, y'all opens in August don't it?

Nitrohunter - that's great...not the skeeters o' course but the early season. Down here in Bama we have to wait until 15 October for Bow. But we will be sweating with the skeeters and chiggers also. We saw some big tracks today on the lease. The place is soaked and MUDDY! from Dennis coming through.
Placed out the trail cams today to see what is happening. We decided no yotes will walk this year. Had folks tell us they will pull down fawns given the chance.

August 25th is a good day.....It's the wife's birthday.
LadyMustang, Our bow season opens Sept 3rd here, seems like it opens earlier every year. I'm not complaining though. LOL

Shoot, I wouldn't complain either! I wish ours opened in September. Georgia's opens 15 September. But the 200 $ for an out of state license isn't worth the 30 days.
Sure makes us itchy to go, though, watching the bowhunting crank up over there.
