Went back to the same place tonight, and saw a load of deer. We pulled into the same place as last night, and you guessed it,deer start coming out the end of the aspen grove.Four bucks,1 spike,2 small sixes and a decent eight. We watch them trot over the stubble into the next aspen grove, good now we have a starting point. We make a big sweep on the edge of the property and I set up in a willow bunch, buddy goes down another couple hundred yards.Half an hour later I have a doe and a yearling at 50 yards but they are on edge and cut right across the stubble to a big aspen grove.I couldn't see it but I guess they fed down in front of buddy at 30 yards. He passed as he was looking for that eight. Twenty minutes later the doe and yearling feed out of the trees and they have a 6 point with them, then deer just started coming out of the aspens and the last one out was a huge 10 point. I saw where they were headed and cut back to a fence line and ran up to cut them off.I was within 75 yards of them when I got busted by a friggen doe I didn't see .The jig was up and the booked it across the stubble, there were 13 deer in the bunch and mostly bucks.
