Have ya'll seen these stands? I saw them in the Keystone Country store magazine. their all climbers and look like the summit stands. the brute lite- it only weighs 14 lbs and has a 300 lb weight capacity. the super brute- it weighs 17.5 lbs and has a 350 lb weight cap. the baby brute lite- weighs only 11 lbs and has a 250lb weight capacity. here's their website www.keystonecountrystore.commy bad back tells me to take a good look at these stands.

they are a little pricy, but the ledgen brute really ain't that much more than what a summit cost. the seat is not cushioned, but the back rest is. 'If I were to get the ledgen brute I'd put a summit air cushion seat and backrest on it. I have a summit also, and with that air seat it's the most comfortable stand I've ever sit in, but I like the sound a 14 lb stand. they say the baby lite ain't very good, because the top section is so lite it will slip down when you stand up or bump it. but you could always strap it down . the summit cobra came with a strap to tie the top section off so it wouldn't slip, but I never use it i just put my weight on it and dig it in the tree by goin back and forth sideways. it won't slip then.
