I talked to the guys in the huntn club today and they told me that our best dog had died. He was about 9 years old and I had hunted with him for about 5 years. I feel like I have lost a good friend. His name was BIGHEAD and he was a great dog, if you heard him howl you had best be ready cause a deer was coming. He will be sadly missed.

Thanks everyone. He had one of those voices that you could pick out of the pack and if you were the dog driver you knew you could count on him to get the deer up. He hated to quit without jumpin a deer. I have been told that his dad and grandad were the same way. Sorry to say we did not get to breed him.
