Man I use to love going out of the night, its. so different than hunting anything during daylight. I guess at one time we had some of the best hounds around here.(Black&Tans)

I have coon hunted since I ws 8 yrs old , so I guess about 47 yrs. Still have fun doing it and as long as I can get through the woods, bad, leg, bad heart, and the 4wheeler cranks, I will keep doing it. I stillenjoy seeing young hounds get there lights turned on and seeing them develop their natural abilty into makeing a coondog. I have given away more pups and dogs to kids over the yrs than I have sold, that is the way I do things in life try and treat people the way I want to be treated. Keep"m Big N" Blue

We still do. I still aint picked out a pup yet though. Ive been thinking about seeing if Jamie will let me have Pink, she is a good lookin walker and HATES a caged coon and will tree all of them that are let loose. She just gets stupid and wants to be too playfull sometimes durring the hunts.

My grampa and uncle used to coon hunt every night in the swamp but kinda got out of it and more into bear hunting latley. They had some of the best dogs around here but now coon hides aint worth nuthin so not much need except for the fun of it. We got enough coons behind my house to fill a 18wheeler though due to corn feeders lol.-tim

a good coon pelt averaged 12.50$ last year. that's not bad. as many coons as are about, a guy can pay his way.
