My anniverary......AAAgain????

My wife.... I love the gal....but she is driving me nuts with these anniversary things.
I told her I was going scouting afterwork today and she said " but baby, its our anniversary." Oh yea, I kindof forgot. 4 years ago on this day we had our FIRST DATE.
DOH! I cant forget the anniversary next week for the first day we kissed. Or the anniversary in June for the day I proposed. Or the anniversary in July for the day I said I would "love, honor, and OBEY, till death do us part. Yes, I did say OBEY. My wifes sister was reading the vows to us and she kindof slipped that in as a joke.
I was so nervous I didnt even realize it until after I said
I do.
I asked her if she would buy me a New muzzleloader shotgun on our anniversary in March. She looked puzzled and said "what anniversary". I said the one when I asked you 4 years ago on that day "Hey baby,
do you WANNA?
She just gave me that look.

Man you need to tough it out and quit observing all these "anniversaries".

That way when you do actually observe one and get something are do something with her she will appreciate it more instead of expecting it.

BTW you get used to the couch after a while.

Naw, all she expects is a hug and a kiss and a "yea I remember what today is". Problem is I usually dont remember.
Im headed home now. Guess I'll pick up a couple of chick flicks and some roses. Ya'll have a good weekend.
