What travel agency did you go through for you trip? Do they have a website? How were the prices? Best I found so far is $1000 per person, 7 nights, all inclusive.

BUCKTALES, what did you mean by all inclusive? I think that means everything is covered includind alcohol. Those cruises cost a lot more.
On the one I went on it was from Thursday to Monday from Tampa to Cozumel and costs I think it was about $380 per person. It covered everything on the cruise ship except the alcohol we drank.
To me any other vacation would cost a lot more especially the way you get to eat on a cruise. The food is excellent.
I would also recommend Carnival Cruise Lines! They are great.
Also the trvel agency can tell you of other places the ship goes to like Bahamas. That cruise was a little cheaper when we went there.
Another thing is the time of year you go. Ask what months are the peak and offpeak seasons. Going during offpeak will save you around 50% of the usual price.
I went to Bahamas in October and it was in the 90's (temp.) I went to Cozumel in Oct. 2002 and it was over 100 (temp) And when I just went to Cozumel Jan 15th the temp was in the 90's. so it is still hot during the offpeak times also......
GOOD LUCK.

PC, the trip we were looking at to the Bahama's was for 7 nights, all meals, alcohol, and lodging was $850 or close to that. You pay one bill up front, and that takes care of everything while you are there, unless you want to go to the tourist shops, and stuff like that. This price is for flying to the Bahamas, no cruise. Who knows what she wants, Im sure she will change her mind again.

if you have the time that price doesn't sound real bad though. I just don't think I would want to spens seven days in the Bahamas.
Good luck!
