I just got my samples of fabric today from www.camostore.com and I am pretty impressed. I think I will be making an order in the next few days. All I have to do is pick my pattern. If you click on the link, you can see the patterns that they have. I am leaning towards Image, or Apparition patterns. What do you think? Help me out, I want one of the two.

Wow.....can you say knock off? ;D
I think the apparition pattern would work better where I pig hunt in East Texas but for my deer lease in South/Central Texas the Image would be better. I guess if you have alot of timber with vivid colors like the piney woods of East Texas, I'd go with the apparition.

H4F, the area I hunt will be a mix of spruce/poplar. I like the Apparition also, and think it would blend in better. Thanks.

Ok, due to the fact that I know nothing about material, the sales dude says the poly/cotton will fade, and begin to rot after being left outside a while. Looks like I will have to spend a bit more, and get the Cordura, or the 500D polyester. Oh well, its only money right? Besides, I would rather spend a little more money now, and not have to replace the fabric every year or two.

You'll also need to get those "yes man" knee pads for when I come up and hunt out of that blind. ;D

If you got samples of different materials as well as patterns, set them out for a while & see what happens before you buy.

Those prices on that site, are they per yard?

Yes Shorthair, per yard. They say per running yard, so I am not sure if that is different than square yard. Maybe 3' off the roll is a yard?

What is the fabric for? Couldn't you do better price wise at a local fabric retailer? Consealment has very little to do with how pretty a pattern is. It's about breakup. That can be done with a plain brown, grey, green, black, etc material with spray paint (flat neutral colors). You can even use branches & leaves to form patterns to stencil over the material. Just lay or tape the branches to the material & paint over. Remove when dry. Unless I was making my own hunting clothes, I would do the above (for blinds, seat cushions, etc).

Just got an email back from them. The "running yard" is actually 36"x60", as it comes off the roll, so the prices are actually very good. I will be ordering it soon. The rest of my parts came in yesterday, with the exception of the 4 main ones I needed. They will be here in 2 weeks, then I can put the whole thing together.
