I have been on two hunts this year we call a "DOE FEST". what a doe fest is, everyone puts $10.00 in the pot and whoever kills the heaviest doe wins the money. I have won twice, any extra cash $$$ always helps.  |

I won fifty bucks in a big buck contest one year, and my friend's buddy goes on a bunch of booked deer hunts and fter he seen some of our bucks offered me a thousand bucks if i could take him where i hunt and gurantee him a buck that size, but sadly im not allowed to bring people here to hunt because its not our property.

I've only lost money hunting. Well not really lost it, I know where it went. Decoys, shells, rifles, shotguns, mud tires, dogs, etc...... ;D

My company runs a contest each year. It is open to all employees (no entry fee) & there are some pretty good prizes. The best I have done is a Buck knife last year for turning in the first buck of gun season. I have also gotten a ballcap each year for the past 5 years for entering a deer.
I've never killed a deer big enough to be considered for the top prize (Remington 7mm A Bolt), but each year you enter ANY buck, you are in the drawing for a Ruger 10/22.

Ive won a couple contests and a few bets with friends. Most years Im good for first kill. Aint entirely legal, but Ive sold a few deer in the past too.  |

i HAVE SOLD SOME COONS AND HOGS BUT I TRY TO KEEP THE VENISON FOR MYSELF.

In the past I also got a little cash for cleaning game for older guys in our camp.
