bought a 1977 jayco eagle off ebay-/and yes, as expected, it needs work. the trailer is tight and solid, but the canvass, electrical and a handfull of other stuff neede work. 1. considering doing business with canvasreplacements.com from the rvworkshop. experiences on purchaces from these folks are appreciated. 2. the icebox is cracked-any advice on plastic repair? 3. should I trash the converter, or run with what I've got?

you are braver than i am on a project like that....especially on the canvas project.
The electrical shouldn't be too bad and most hardware stores carry an epoxy that is strong and should take care of the ref. cracks. GOOD LUCK

Hmmmmmm.
Good luck bro. You'd be a better man than I. I want a pop up too. They are light and perfect for hunting and camping.

I got a pop up out in the yard I would give someone just to get rid of it. The tongue on the trailer is shot and it hasn't been opened in 6 or 7 years so no telling what the inside looks like.

Tell us a little more bro. I'll have a truck with new transmission Tuesday. I might be able to help you out.

I don't know much more, it was my wifes before we married, the tongue on the trailer is rusted just about off, the rest of the trailor appears to be ok. The inside I have never seen as it hasn't been opened since I met my wife almost 7 years ago and probably a couple of years before that. I imagine the canvas is rotted but anyone wants it can have it. Got a '77 Cadillac sitting there rusting away to. Body is pretty good shape, front right quarter panel needs to be replaced or fixed, interior is still in good shape and it ran like a top when it was parked. Kept saying I was going to fix it and just never got to it.
