'Crocodile Hunter' takes baby to feed crocs BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -- Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin took his month-old son to his first croc feeding on Friday, offering the reptile a chicken with one hand and holding the baby in the other. With a capacity crowd looking on, Irwin dangled a dead chicken before the 13-foot crocodile named Murray, which snapped up the offering. Irwin's tiny son Bob looked on from his other arm. "He's one-month-old, so it's about time Bob got out there and did his first croc demo," the Australian celebrity told the crowd at his Australian Zoo. Irwin's wife Terri, who gave birth to her second child on December 1, also attended the show, billed as Bob's "croc feeding debut." Irwin's show, "The Crocodile Hunter," served as the basis for the movie "The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course," which came out in 2002. www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/asiapcf/01/02/crocodile.baby.ap/index.html

Not too sure about some of them hollywood type folks. Take ol' Mike am I white or am I black Jackson. ---- This thing put his childs life in jeopardy by holding him out a two story window. Now Steve Irwin takes his baby for a walk with a 13 ft. crocodile. I see something wrong about this kind of crap. I don't know maybe it's just me, but I think a father should do his best to keep his children out of harm's way. ----------- I my be wrong about this, but I think not.

Deerslayer, he may be a pro but I saw a show on him the other day like Bloopers, and he has been bit, scratched, tripped all of the above you name it has happened. I think both guys are idiots. It is almost like letting a little kid play with a loaded gun saying "oh don't worry, it's on safety."
Sooner or later something bad will happen if they keep it up. Crazy what people will do for a little publicity.

Man, you just don't endanger a child like that. Them crocs are fast and if he for any reason dropped that child, well I'd hate to think about it. I can't find any logical reason for doing such a thing, just plain crazy.

He's a cool guy. I like his show.
If he did that in the US he would have been prosecuted for endangering a child.

I always did say he was an idiot for some of the stuff he does. Why would anyone think he would act any differently with his kid than he does everyday. Anybody that plays with snakes, gators, kimodo dragons, etc has a few screws loose.
