My girl is going hunting tomorrow with me!!!!!!!! And we are leaving in time to eat breakfast at the clubhouse. That means leaving my house at 4:50AM, which means she has to get up at 4:30AM. She took her bath and washed her hair already so all she has to do is wash her face and brush her teeth in the morning.
I figured she was done until next year but I really think she's getting into it.
I just hope we see one tomorrow. I just hope we have a good race come near us so she can feel that excitement and get hooked.

We still haven't killed a deer together. I saw one that sneaked up behind us and ran towards the dogs, the direction I was watching obviously.
Then in the afternoon my 8 year old niece that was riding around with my bro-in-law wanted to go with Sarah and me. I said okay but you got be quite when I tell ya. Well she was doing good(she was enjoying a sucker I gave her) as dogs were running straight towards us. Well I'm watching for for a deer to come right at us and my niece taps me on the shoulder. I look to see her showing her purple tongue from the sucker she was eating. You guessed it deer, four this time, go whizzing by as I'm looking at the purple tongued child. We look to see the comotion and she and I see the deer as they run off towards the oncoming dogs.
My poor youngun ain't seen any of them or the trukey that flew by and lit in a pine tree. Oh well we all had great time in the woods together and that's what matters most to me. Lord knows I've done killed up a mess of deer in my lifetime and if I don't shoot another one I'll have shot my share.

she's been bit by the lil huntin' bug....how awesome.
i'm so happy y'all are gettin' to spend quality time together and hopefully y'all will get one soon.
had to giggle bout your neice's purple tongue....figures that'd happen. ;D
