which one of your senses would you give up if you had to give up one?
i think mine would be smell.......or taste. but out of the big ones it'd probably be hearing.

I've been deaf since shortly after birth due to spinal meningitis. The most difficult thing is to type how hearing people do because American Sign Language -ASL- is kind of like shorthand. We don't sign every word in a sentence as hearing people would speak. It would take longer than it took to type this. Plug your ears for a day and you'll never want to giveup hearing. Protect it at all costs.

FL, I think Michael Jackson has a sign language for that, LOL Like Ken said, don't give up that hearing, I have to wear hearing aids, I'm not completely deaf, but it is a pain in the you know what....

I've already lost my sense of smell. I can smell a little but with all the chemical fumes I'm exposed at work I can't smell things like I used to.

I have almost no sense of smell left either. I get along ok without it.
