MANALAPAN, N.J. - Put this in your pipe and smoke it: A New Jersey truck driver is developing a drug-free version of pot he calls "MarijuaNot."
Lou Santiago has spent the last five years of his life trying to find a way to weed out marijuana's psychoactive ingredients while leaving the aroma intact. Santiago figures his idea is perfect for potheads who are having a hard time weaning themselves from "wacky tobacky" and still want to light up.
Also, he thinks regular stoners will be able to smoke it when they're in a public place and are unable to light up from their real stash. Once he's grown a batch of MarijuaNot, Santiago plans to sell it for $15 an ounce and says he's already received orders from the Dutch government. However, Santiago admits he needs some seed money before he can start cultivating crops of MarijuaNot.
