I am new to this site and need some help/ advise. I have a cva optima pro, I have shot tc sabots, hornady sabots and powerbelts. The powerbelts group the best but at100 yrds nothing seems to do well. I have used pyrodex pellets and loose 777 ff loose, two pellets or typically 125 gr loose. I have swabbed after each shot with bore butter and a dry patch, two dry patches, one wet/damp patch w/#13 cleaner and a dry patch. Nothing seems to work well for me.. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks TNARCHER..

That seems odd that the power belts didnt group for you. I have 3 friends that use the same gun, and loads as you are, and their guns shoot great. They are using 2-50grn pyrodex pellets, and the 295gn copper clad powerbelts. they are shooting sub 1" groups with theirs.
I really dont think you need to bore butter between shots. Shoot it a few times without buttering the bore between shots, and see how that works. You shouldnt have a problem loading the gun with powerbelts.
I have a Remington 700ML, and I shot 26 rounds without swabbing the barrel. Each round loaded as easy as the first. My gun seems to shoot worse if I "butter" the barrel between shots. If that doesnt work, are you sure that the scope is TIGHT, with absolutely no give? Had a gun give us fits one time, until we started over, and found 1 loose screw on the mount. You wouldnt think it would cause that much trouble, but it sure will.
