last weekend i tryed 777 pellets 2 50gr pellets + 240gr saboted bullets cva wolf
after 2 shots i was not able to push the bullet to the end of the barrel.. i broke T-handle of ramrod..
I removed breech plug and found that barrel is very dirty in the powder area. that dirt was very hard to remove, like burnt plastic. but all other area of the barrel was clean.
when i use pyrodex pellets the whole barrel is dirty, but that dirt is kind of "black oil", easy removable
so.. is it 777 problem? may be it burns different than pyrodex and melts sabots

You know, I had a problem like that a couple years ago. Dad gave me six fifty gr. pellets of 777, They seemed to shoot about the same as the pyrodex pellets, but the third shot was very hard to seat and I had to clean the rifle before I shot it again.......You could be on to something!

That very same thing happened to me. I heard that it was a common problem. I switched to "American Pioneer" brand, and eliminated the problem. Triple Seven does burn a little hotter, thus possibly the excessive fouling/burnt plastic in the breech area.
