I think Im gonna go back to sighting in at 50. I have yet to shoot at a deer with it passed about 65yds anyways. Almost all of them have been in bow range. I dont know if its the places I hunt or what.

i start at 50yds. when i'm satisfied, i go to 100. 2 inches high at 100yds. should put you 2 inches low at 200yds with most muzzle loaders. 1 inch high at 100yds. will kill 'em out to 150 with a good shotgun. my 30-.06 is sighted 2in. high at 100yds. and i wont hesitate to shoot out to 400yds.

Going to sight in a new 45 remington in a few days.First I have to get a receiver screw drilled out.Put in to hard from factory and I broke both ears off trying to remove. I sight in 2-21/2" high at 100 yards just like all my guns.

Shot it the other day. Its grouping good at 50 even thought I lost all of my cleaning stuff..... It actually seems to be shooting better than normal.

I helped a friend sight his in once and you could shoot good groups after six shots but it was all over the place before those six shots. I don't know how many times we shot that thing before we got it right, ended up shooting every pyrodex pellet and powerbelt bullet we both had and this was the day before season opened! Luckily I made it to Wal Mart in time to buy probably the last of everything they had.
