I got a new Charles Daly auto loader last night. My buddy called me and told me he wanted to get rid of his......he neeeded the cash. I got a really good deal on it. I'm taking it out this weekend to the dove fields for 2 days. It's not a dove gun but I'll be able to see how it shoots. He had 6 tubes to go with it and it seemed to be in fantastic shape.
Anyone ever have on or know anyone who uses a Charles Daly?
I'll get some pics up soon.

Well,
It's NOT a dove gun. Of course, I knew that when I bought it.
It will not cycle 2 3/4 inch shells at all. It WILL EAT UP the 3 inch and 3 1/2 inch shell though. I was impressed with it even though I did not get to crank as many rounds through it as I would have liked to.

I finally got to take it to the range today. It shoots well. And on target.
Now, here's the part where *I AM A MORON*!!!!!! :
I grab my 3 inch steel shot and get through a half a box before I realize that my LEAD SHOT ONLY TURKEY TUBE IS SCREWED ONTO THE END!!!!
