i got on to fort gordon this year and want to get my hands on a good slug gun to use any suggestions?

hastings makes a rifled barrel to fit many popular shotguns nowadays. they are THE top of the line slug barrel. they are usually priced around 180$, but well worth the money.

that aint bad at all thanks. is there anyone who makes a straight up slug gun so no changing out barrels?

I think most of the companies do. I dont think they are a big seller in states that allow rifle hunting, so you have to get your gun dealer to order one. Just look up what ever company you like best on the net and it should have a products link.

the rem. 870 and the mossberg 835 can both be ordered with a slug barrel. the mossberg is even cantilevered

What do you need a slug gun for? Are heading out to Ft. Gordon hunting?

Another vote for the Mossberg. I don't own one, but I know thay make a good slug gun.

i have a mossberg 835.. i love it its not that loud either
