Freind of mine just picked up a .17 in a Savage.All I can say is WOW!We were turning gophers inside out with it at ranges pushing past 200 yards.We used CCI hollow points and they would pop them rodents like a zit.We killed 60 plus gophers in an hour from one spot on wednesday.
