A guy at work has a .270 Browning Stainless Stalker with the BOSS and Im positive I can get it for $500. I kinda want it but cant make up my mind... I already have a 270 but damn at the price... I thought about just "borrowing" the money from my 401K and Getting a new Browning Stainless Stalker .25-06 or 25wssm.  |

I can't shoot anything with the boss on it.Its to loud an will make my ears ring for days.

Wow , that is a good price . which is better your or that one ? you can always sell one . Not sure how much hunt'n you do or the nature . But with a 270 already , I'd be looking at the 300 wsm over the 25:06 ! Just my thoughts ! Regards Bullet

Dude, its against the rules to sell guns! You gotta add to the collection. Ive already got a 300winmag, so I dont really want a wsm, I have thought about the 325 though. Dont know why, aint like these SC deer get much over 200#...

Hey Deerslayer , I fully understand all to well about never selling a gun - That could be why their is 27 rifle in the gun room and only one of each cal. If your not getting out of SC much to hunt you might check out that 7mm wsm - I 'm hearing good things about it . Talk at you later . Bullet

Come to find out it dont have a BOSS after all.
I got this price Quote today on a Browning Stalker W/BOSS .338WinMag
Looks like it would make it 719.25 after taxes... Thinking about taking an Elk hunt next year so I might think about it pretty hard.
Don't have in stock but can order for you for $669.99 + $15 shipping + tax.

Well Ill add my 2cents if its worth anything at all. Brownings makes awsome products no dought in my mind. My dad shoots a Browning BAR 270 that is old as the hills and still shoots bangbangbang every shot. My uncle bought a 243wssm last season for shooting bobcats with and it is a BrowningA-bolt but me personally if I was gunna buy a new rifle I would not want anything smaller than a 270. I have seen deer shot with 243s and 25s and all that stuff and they are good shooting and will kill a deer dead no dought but I tend to want something that is gunna putem on the ground first or second shot. We where hunting in the swamp one time and the dogs where runnning hard. A big buck came out in a field on the opposite side of where we where hunting and a guy we know shot him four time with a 243 before it finally got away. My uncle shot him twice with a 30-06 and piled him up no problem. I am shooting 30-30 and it has plenty of knock down for what I do so no problems there but I would not go any smaller than 270. That does sound like a good price to.-tim
