Hi All, Well I got this in a trade a couple of weeks ago, and set about re-styling it and smoothing out the trigger. Put a 6x40 scope on it in Steel Hilver rings and tried it out. At 70 paces it put 3 factory SAKO Gamehead 55 Grn bullets in 0.600" now I need to try it properly at 100 yards and 200 yards to see how it reall performs. This is as it came but after putting the scope on it. And this after the first staining attempt, the wood is some very white wood, I then stripped it off and followed a Gunsmiths idea and Used Potassium Permanganate Crystals disolved in water and it now looks much better and a more natural colour than the washed out grey left b the commercial wood stain. The stock now

Good job cuz. I bet that's real blast to take out to the range. I have a Baikal 12 gauge MP-153. It was a little rough around the edges but the wood was beautiful. It is reliable gun but it doesn't pattern worth a hoot.
