been thinking aobut getting one in .223. anybody have any feedback?

I have one in 25-06 and like it. A friend of mine has one in .223, I havent been with him when he has shot it but from what I hear its a real shooter.

I think Mud and Treedog both shoot Hani-rifles. They both love em. I understand they are very accurate.

what i would LIKE to do, is trade a ruger 77/17 for a nef sportster (hummer) and a .223. don't know if i will have any luck in that, but i'll give it a shot

I have 2. Love them both. A NEF Handi-rifle in 30-06. Holds a good pattern but because of the light weight, it kicks like a mule. Also have a Handi-rifle youth model in .243 for my 8 year old son. It's a real tack driver. Some things to keep in mind: 1) There is no trigger adjustment. Both of mine have good crisp triggers, but the 30-06 is a bit harder to pull. 2) Get a model that you can buy barrels for. Most of the centerfires will accept barrels for a variety of other centerfire calibers as well as shotgun & muzzleloader. Check the website for details. www.hr1871.com/
