i think i posted a pic here on the [best] deer guns.its simple and from someone who knows , me. .250 sav,243,300 sav.thats it.use 87 gr. in the 250.90 gr.in the 243, 150 gr. in 300.use nothing but the [lever] actions model 99 sav.if you would like to go into detail on what i have given you, thats alright. i will answer.this is [experience] you will not read in a book .i am i wealth of knowlege on this, trust me.

Match the bullet to the game in the 6mm and 25s and they perform excellent.

stay with the .250sav or 243 for up to deer.the 6mm is a long shell. that means more weight in the gun. i hate weight.the 6mm is the [best] siloheete shooting gun at the range. thats all the pros use but for hunting,no.use the ones above.powder best. use 3031 has been good for me but you have to try it. best bullets. only 2 , speer and sierra do to ogive of these calibers.for deer,use 87 gr. in the 250 and the 90 gr. in 243.i know , experts say use 100 gr.nope!experts did not kill as many deer as my family for 70 years.now you have it,take care
