on deer are there reay any practal differance in the so called normal cal. in the performance dep?

i will say no. they all have bullets of simmilar weight and are all around 500fps of each other.

and is there realy that much cal differance between .277,.284 and .308? not realy is there?

I think its all about the bullet you choose. I love a coreloct in a 3006, but hate them with a passion in a 270.
