Here is the main fish that I wanted to catch while in Alaska. These are some hard fighting little dudes, and excellent to eat after being cooked over a flame. I didnt get near the amount of time to fish them that I wanted, but it gives me all the more reason to return for a follow up trip.

There's a couple lakes not far from where I live that have grayling in em.I fished one a couple years ago but with no success.
I hear they're a good fight on the flyrod.

They are a nice looking fish. Is that about the average size?

Nitro, thats about the average sized fish. The ones we caught were all between 13-15". Im told later in the year the bigger fish will be around.

Hey I was in Alaske last in 2006 from the end of June to the middle of July. I caught only one grayling about 6" long. It was the only fish I had caught at the time. I e-mailed the pic to wife and told her here is a picture of my $____ ? (forgot the total cost I had in it). LOL
Loved it there and hope to get back.
