Another Good Day On The Ice

Went back to Svern LK. yesterday,we caught 18 trout.The fishing was a bit slower than last week,but the fish were consistantly bigger.

Also saw a lot of bird game while we were there.Gonna have to get back up there next year with the dogs and a shotgun.Pheasant were all over the place.

Sounds like a good day to me. What would you say was the average size of the trout this time?

Nitro,the average was about a pound and a half.We got three that went close to two and a half.There are bigger ones in that lake,I've heard of 11 pounders coming out of it.
