Just caught three but hooked a big one that broke off. A guy sitting next to me caught one that weighed about thirty pounds.
Guess it just wasn't my night, but I did break a dry spell....The last two times I'd been a hadn't caught anything.

Hunter316, Rowdy is the name of the area that Chris's pay lake is located.....I think.
You should have pretty good luck at any of the three I've talked about.
Take plenty of liver, shrimp, chicken breast with strawberry kool aid mixed in and nightcrawlers....plus any kind of dough bait with plenty of garlic in it.

Mostly Blues and Channels but sometimes they'll put some big Flatheads in too.
I've heard some rumers about the one in Whitesburg stocking a bunch of big ones next Thursday thru Saturday.....I'll let you know more when I find out.

I went to the Whitco lake Friday night. Didnt get a bite. Maybe another time.

From what I've heard it was a bad weekend for everybody. My bro in law went to chris's last night and didn't catch anything either, said he did see 25, 37 and 52 pounders caught though. The 25 pounder was caught with a ultra light with four pound test....talk about having the drag set perfect.  Like I said just let me know a few days in advance....I'll bring the bait. If we cant catch the fish we'll shoot the bull. ;D |
