Went off a pier across from the house. I caught ONE white bass.... Mike caught a small bream I put on my big rod. He caught about a 3' gar with it while I was walking back from the house with some snacks.... Was fairly boring, but nice to be out fishin again. I walked down to the lake at sunrise to see if the gar were cruising the bream beds, but they werent. Its about time though. We were on this pier..

deerslayer11, I see that in your profile you are from Waterloo. I have to believe then that is Lake Greenwood. I am from Beech Island South Carolina, but we have a lake town house on Greenwood. Down next to the dam in 96. maybe I will see you on the water.

Your town house at Pier 96? I went to school in 96. I was over that way a couple days ago. Good to see some more local people on here. We will have to meet up one day.

Sure is buddy. We have been there for lil over a year. we are the very last town house before you get to the patio homes. very quite neighborhood except for the people loooking for the resturant. My dad is from Saluda, so the lake house at 96 was an easy option. I only have one complaint, and that is that the level drops so much there is little to no fishing. we have to put the pontoon in storage, because the floating docks stops floating . do you live up above 221? Hey 96fisherman I'm in Evans GA across the river from you. Do you smoke cigars? I know a great shop about 25 minutes from where Sandbar Ferry Road crosses the river.

The bream have bedded here. We found several beds yesterday & had a blast. I love catching big bream on ultra light gear.
