Went out to lake Talquin Sunday morning and caught one two pound bass and 10 crappie. Threw back quite a few under 10 inches. The biggest crappie was just over 2lbs. I spent most of the day playing with my new fish finder. Its frustrating though when the fish quit biting but you can still see a bunch of big ones on the fish finder.

Thats right hunt4 any day is good these days, peace an quite if I stopped going just b/c I didnt catch many I would have stopped a long time ago.

You just had to say that, I been dying to go to talquin and can't get the time. Talke to a buddy said they have been tearing it up around Hammack and Acklawaha creek.

I used to get the crappie right around the boy scout camp in Acklawaha creek.
