My next door neighbor, and fishing buddy, went out on Ray Roberts yesterday with his uncle and they caught 18 largemouth and almost 70 crappie only 50 of which they could keep. They released all the largemouth. They were just pulling into the driveway last night as I was carrying sorry self off to bed. I knew I'd have helped em filet all of em if I went over there. We are gonna try to get out there tomorrow and do the same.

That is a heck of a crappie lake. I could launch up near the north end and stay for days.
Go get 'em bro. The wife is out of town for the weekend and I think Little Go and I are gonna flood the yard and get some worms to surface and I'm going to take her brim fishing.

Hey, I caught some crappie today, except I refer to them as bait... ;D Only the small ones though, dont get all huffy now.. We are going out tomorrow and try an coax some blue cats into biting at a local paylake grand opening I was invited to. Still to early for flatheads. Good Luck! Bill

If you get caught using a game fish as bait in Texas, you won't be fishing for the rest of the year with a license. I gotta buddy thet does it, but I am too afraid of getting caught.
