Were heading out to a place called Rodmans, near palatka, florida, its good for bass fishing, i fished it about 3 weeks ago and we caught 17 bass, several around 10 pounds, smallest was about 2 pounds, im hoping we have the same luck, temperatures gonna be around 80 degrees, and ll have to get teh sunblock out ;D

Man I sure envy you guys that have open water,we're still six weeks away from any semblance of open water .Ice fishing is in the duldrums now and won't pick up till almost ice off and I don't like being on the ice at that time . I'l just have to bide my time shooting gophers till breakup.

UPDATE: We got up at 4:30am, got to the boat ramp right as the sun was coming up, we fished some of the shore lines throwin some buzz baits early morinng, man it was awesom, them bass killed the buzz baits early morning, and the wind picked up some and we tried fishin some worms around the lilly pads it worked there was some bass still on the beds and then around 11 we starting throwing some classic spinner baits, they worked awesom to, we caught 9 total. not including some mudd fish and a few jacks. we caught most early in the morning on the, buzz baits. it was a pretty good day.
