Sorry it took so long to get back,well where do I start ?
You missed a good one this time,over 400 people showed up for the Week-End Party,many new faces,alot of them from out of state,this AF Event is growing faster than anyone could belive.
The First night was kinda hecktic,everyone getting into thier room`s at the Dockside Inn witch is actualy 4 hotel`s put together,5 dock`s,3 pool`s,plenty of room for all 400+ of us. If you`ve never seen 400+ Fishermen and women working together to get ready for a Tourney,then you need to make it over to a Mogan Mania...it a Beautiful Sight !
Drink`s were flowing like water,Laggoons Catered this event again this year,that alone was worth the Entrance Fee. Blackened Grouper,Fried Grouper,Fried Shrimp,Lobster Cake`s,Fried Chicken,Hamburger`s,Hot-Dog`s,green-Been`s,Baked-Bean`s,French-Fry`s,Cold-Slaw,Hush-Puppy`s....Man what a feast,they truely out did themself`s again this year. They also did Brakefast in the Morning before everyone went out for the Tourney....what a treat !
The Tourney was awsome,I didn`t even catch a fish,but I had the best time,I was realy tring to get the Wife hooked up so she could get into the Awards,she did manage to get a nice Snook:
we had to cut it a little short because the wind picked up and my little boat didn`t like the huge waves. Alot of folk`s cought thier first Snook there,some thier first fish ever. One guy that didn`t have a boat was put on a boat with one of the many Guide`s that showed up to help out,and he cought the biggest Snook I`ve ever seen;
I was realy suprized how many of the Lady`s got into the tourney,here are a few of them;
The Kid`s did very well themself`s:
This Young Angler won the Raffle to go out with the Moganman for the Tourney.
Jeff here who I think was with Laggoons cought his first fish EVER...It won him a nice Cape Fear-Finor combo rod-and-reel........too cool!
This is getting long so I`ll show you some of the nicer fish that the guy`s cought;
Now I think this was the best one for the Young Angler`s,Allie Anderson` Sail.

After the Tourney,dinner was served,Laggoons kicked butt again,then the Award`s,everyone won some great Prizes. Then out came the Band "The Keroseen Brother`s" AKA " Heyseed Dixie, what a treat.....
