Very nice, bro.
How in the hell do you skin a skunk?
I guess the better question is how do you get the smell out after you get the fancy stuff off?

I always wondered about the skinning of skunks myself.

Looks like you had a decent season. I trapped 24 skunks, 2 coon, and a pine marten. I got 2 bucks each for the skunks, and I am getting the marten tanned.
I sell my skunks to an old timer for $2 bucks, he does all the stinky work, and he has been getting $12.25 each for the hides, and he also sells the essence and glands.
Glad to see someone is doing better than I am.

hunt4fun1 and NitroHunter I skin them the safe I i do a coon ( case them out ). I get the smell out by using a solution. Take a pint of Hydrogen Peroxide, some baking soda and standard Dish soap, and mix it together, just DO NOT put a cover over the top because it will be BLOWN off. Hydrogen Peroxide, some baking soda work good together as long as the gases(which are safe) can escape. Bucktales I now a few guys that take the essence and glands as well using a hypodermic needle and syringe and make just as much selling that as they do the hides. I am not that brave yet LOL. I would have wrote back earlier guys but I only have till the 15th of this month to trap, and besides of having a real job LOL I forgot what a computer is
