It's been a long time but we use to go a whole lot, it was a tradition to go out on Thanksgiving morning, kill a bunch of rabbits and come home to a good meal.

Used to own a pack of crossbred Basset/Beagles that would hunt allday. Hunted the swamps every weekend and took plenty of cottontail and swamprabbits ahead of that pack. Deer population got to where there were deer everywhere and the dogs would bump a deer and you'd spend the rest of that day and a few more trying to get the dogs back. Finally gave up and sold the dogs to a deer-dogger. Deer so thick that SC has a NO-LIMIT on bucks from Aug.15-Jan.01 and 16 Doe-Days w/2xday plus 4 Doe-Tags for 36 does per season and the herds are still growing.
