Parked inside the hunt club gate just out of sight of the road and got the gear. Walked around a bend to where I could see around a few slow S curves and found some steaming coyote scat. Setup on the edge of the trail. Blew a cottontail distress at low volumn on Tweety, waited about 30 seconds and repeated with a little more volumn and went silent. Didn't take long and a coyote came around the fartherest curve then he'd appear and disappear with the curves. As he came around the last curve, I noticed he had a leg missing at the elbow. I squeezed the squeeker and he stopped to look. The Ruger M-77 .22Mag spat lead and he dropped with a CCI 40gr JHP in the head. I took him back to the setup for more pics.
