A guy at work caught a coon in a catch alive trap and gave it to me since jamie was out of town. I put it in my living room for a couple days until jamie got home. Today we decided we needed to take it out of the trap and put a collar on it so we can lead it to train the puppies with. Im guessing it wieghs around 5 pounds, so I didnt think much about it. After I grabbed it it tore my ass up! I got it behind the head so I didnt get bit, but it did its share of clawing. After we finally got the collar on it we let the pups mess with it. His male took an instant dislike to it. My female will take some more getting acquainted with it before she dont like it.
We did this around 1pm today and here it is 2am and my hands are still sore... I guess its like they say, when youre dumb you gotta be tough. I think we are going to put it in his rabbit cage tomorrow. I hope it will get used to us after a time or three. If not Ill probably like it a lot less than the dogs.
