A yote by its self cannot take a healthy deer down,a pack can,and they do take their toll on the fawns,but so do black bears.Yotes are the best rodent controllers out there bar none.

I won't shoot em anymore,fur prices don't warrant it and I prefer to watch their antics,they're funny to watch when they're mousing.

I worked a cattle ranch in British Columbia for ten years.We never lost a calf to coyotes,and there are plenty of them.That just don't play with me.Coyotes are little dogs,smart little dogs,but they're not taking out calves.
