I've decided just to call for my cousin this year, He's never killed one and I agreed to do all the scouting and calling so he'll have a chance to get one.

I can't wait. We have the youth hunt the week before regular season so I get to call for my boy.

I think we're going to have plenty this year, but we did last year and they were the hardest to work I've ever seen.

That's cool Nitro. Good of you to try to help him get his first bird.
Our regular season runs 4/1 - 5/14 with youth only dates 3/25 & 26, and 5/20 & 21. I haven't scouted a lick this year but I might try to see if my daughter wants to try to pop one. We've usually got a bunch of birds in the riverbottom.
