I'll be out bright and early on the first day. Our turkey population is doing very well. i saw over 20 in a field just tonite.

Looks like I will be going again this year. I just got my permit in the mail today. I should be able to sneak down to Mom and Pops for a weekend, and hopefully shoot a nice bird.

I saw three fly over this evening and heard one fly up in the roost while filling the deer feeder up.......kinda give me the fever.

My second favorite website "Hunting and fishing for people with disabilities" on MSN I met a guy from right down the road whos in a wheelchair and got his first gobbler last year...he brought me up a hand made box call he used to bag his bird..So he is gonna 'hopefully' call me in one this spring..I hope like heck I get one...they say after you get the first one you are hooked for life...I am all excited and can't wait till opening

Just found this post--already sent a PM to your recent post. Sorry we lost touch. I only met you that one time, and lost your phone number, and tried to e-mail you through the MS disabled hunters forum, but never heard back. I was worried and didn't want to just drive up and honk. I did get to turkey hunt once this year, and managed to call up and scare off a nice gobbler.
