This was my first year to turkey hunt . A good friend said I could team up with him , we did alot of scouting
& knocking on doors, we roosted the birds the nite before the season opened, the first day we set up together along a field near a big ol oak, we put out 2 hen decoy's, just at day break the ol boy's started talking, we started to call ,it only took 2min.and here they came on a dead run for the decoy's, we both shot the same time and it sound like one gun went off.Well we got our birds.....My bird --18.4oz, 51/2in. beard & 1/4 in spur's,,,,,,My buddies bird was 20.14oz, 10 1/2 in. beard & 1 1/2 spur's---HOOKED FOR LIFE NOW
