Good start for the 2005 Washington turkey season

Last weekend was a good time in the turkey woods for my wife, Becca, and myself.

On Saturday she killed a nice young Merriams tom and the afternoon of the day before I also killed a young Merriams tom.

Hers was a shotgun kill and I made mine with my recurve bow.

Both birds were, of course, called with our own "Gobblers End" turkey calls.
