going gun only this weekend....where i'm going has cow pasture after cow pasture and i really don't feel luggin' 30lbs of gear plus my gun and bow around.
i know it's my dream to get one with a bow but i'm just beat from workin' my butt off lately.
i'll let y'all know how i do.

seems like it was everyone's weekend but mine but that's alright...i'll try again this weekend comin' up.
bringin' my bow and i don't have to worry about being traumatized by the frickin' cows from hell.

My decoys were nosed by the cows this morning, it was hilarious watching 25 cows try and sneak up on 2 plastic turkeys! ;D

i would have freaked.
i'll be headin' out again this weekend for my three day hunt.....second toso...NO COWS YEAH!!!!
only issue i have is that the freak zone is flooded so i have to wander until i can find some dry land.
i'll let y'all know how i do.

I have had hogs bust every set-up I have made for the past two weeks. Tried to shoot a #200+ boar Thursday, got to within 12yds but he didnt present a good shot for the .45
