went huntin' this past weekend. didn't see squat....freak zone was under water so it sucked...even though i enjoyed just being out there tons and bunches. i finally got to hear my first gobble of the season this morning...too bad it was 10miles away. hopefully it won't rain too much and i'll be able to get to the freak zone this weekend. i'm takin' my bow and gun...under 25 i'll take it with my bow and anything over will be with my shotgun. i know after luggin' both weapons plus all my gear is a real work out for my arms. y'all keep fingers crossed, think happy thoughts, etc that i'll get one wiht my bow this weekend.
hope everyone else is doing better than me.

Better luck next time. I think this gobbling lull is pretty much statewide right now. I know in my area its very quiet. I did manage to pull in a silent bird on Saturday though.
