I am going to buy this gun, but I was wanting some perspective. I think it would make an excellent turkey gun. Any suggestions. turkey season is so short, I cant see myself buying a very expensive gun, especially this early in the game. thanks for any advice 96

96'er, I have an 835Ulti-mag, and I love it. I have killed 3 turkey's with it so far. I use an Undertaker choke tube, and it throws a very tight patten at 40 yards.
I bought the gun mainly for goose hunting. 100's of geese have been killed with this gun. For the money, I think they are a great shotgun. It might not be the best looking gun on the market, but it serves the purpose.

You cant beat it for the price. I use a Browning Gold 3.5", but all the guys that hunt with me use the 835s.

I've had a 835 for yrs now. Its a good gun for the money. I shoot a Browing Gold 3&1/2 now but I keep the 835 for a backup gun. I've killed several turkeys & many ducks with the 835. It can take anything you do to it.
