A turkey hunting friend has a small woodworking shop and I stopped by to visit. Saw some nice pieces of wood and asked what it was. He replied "nothing but scrap", so I got into his scrap and played around on his small lathe. Broke more pieces than I finished, but then it was "nothing but scrap"! I have some more pics, without the CodyII, but the strikers are the same. I'll post that pic. The Zebrawood has a med/high pitch, on the Cody slate and a high pitch on the Tony Reynolds' glass. I like the difference in tones I get with different strikers, so I carry 5-6 strikers. Easy to sound like a flock of birds, when you have an assortment of "hens" in your vest.
