it started out overcast and damp it rained all night last night, i got up on the hill and waited and waited and tried to get soemthign to gobble and finally well after daylight they broke the silence, there was about 7 different gobblers on one bench so i got in as close as i could and set up on the same bench all the gobbling was to my right and i heard a couple hens way off to my left, i figured it was perfect, i set out my decoys and waited, about 60 gobbles later i see a hen walk by at about 8 feet, and heads down towards the gobblers, then another, then another, about ten minutes later everything shuts up, later on i had two coming in hard and fast but somebody else heard them and tried to cut in and ended up just spooking them off, im gonna go back tommorrow and maybe see if i can get set up a little deeper on the bench that way if i dont get them to come to me ill catch them coming that way with the hens
